Russia. Rapeseed oil production gained 9% in the first months of 2017/18


37.9 KMT of rape oil was produced in Russia in September 2017 against 20.7 KMT in August 2017 and 33.5 KMT in September 2016.

Rapeseed crushing exceeded the 2016 level for three months in a row, reports UkrAgroConsult.  Consequently, overall rape oil production in July-September 2017/18 was up 9.1% year-on-year at 85.7 KMT against 78.5 KMT a year ago.

As a reminder, UkrAgroConsult expects this trend to continue throughout the marketing year.
