Russia. Recovery of Egyptian demand as a main driver for growth in wheat export prices


Russian wheat prices continued to grow on the export market, reports UkrAgroConsult. Last week export prices for Russian milling wheat increased on average by USD 3 in the Novorossiysk port for November delivery. In small ports prices also strengthened by nearly USD 1-3 over the week.

Export prices for Russian wheat are supported by importers, particularly Egypt. Results of last tender showed Russian wheat prices were USD 3-4 higher. Key importers - Egypt, Algeria, Indonesia, Israel, Japan have increased their purchases.

Domestic price growth was observed, despite stable ruble.
