Russia should export half of the produced food

Russia should start exporting up to half of food produced after the saturation of the domestic market, believes the Head of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev. He said this in his speech at the St. Petersburg International economic forum, reports The DairyNews.

"We need to export from 40 to 50 percent of products," the Minister said. - "Currently, Russia is already exporting pork, poultry, grain, vegetable oil, sugar. It is necessary to develop exports of beef, dairy products, vegetables and fruits, which we will saturate our market with within three to five years", - said the Head of the Ministry of agriculture.
