Russia. Sodruzhestvo Group to construct a new vegetable oil extractor in Ulyanovsk


Sodruzhestvo Group is planning to construct a large handling facility and an oil extraction plant in Ulyanovsk region. The oil extractor will be engaged in deep processing of oilseeds.

The plant’s design capacity is declared at some 2 KMT of feedstock a day. The finished products will include largely soybean and sunseed meals and oils.

The investment project value will be at least RUB 10 Bl. The date of the oil extractor’s launch is not disclosed yet, reports UkrAgroConsult.

First of all, the company is going to focus its efforts on the construction of a large grain and oilseed handling facility with a capacity of up to 1 MMT. The investor is planning to start the construction in 2019 and complete the project in 2021. As a result, Ulyanovsk will become the key point where Sodruzhesto will collect grains and oilseeds and ship them for processing to Kaliningrad for further export.
