Russia. Solnechnye Produkty Holding exported own product to Vietnam for the first time ever

Solnechnye Produkty Holding, a major fat-and-oil producer, has expanded the range of export destinations. In 2018, for the first time in its history, the holding supplied a cargo of ‘Rossiyanka’-branded bottled sunoil to Vietnam, the company’s website reports.

The cargo amounted to a total 25 MT of sunoil packed in one-liter, two-liter and five-liter bottles. The product was made at the holding’s Atkarsky oil extractor.

‘Rossiyanka’ is one of the first packed oils in Russia. The brand has gained numerous awards and premiums at various international forums.

As a reminder, Russia and Vietnam started trade relationships in the sunoil market in the  2014/15 season, when the first parcels of the Russian product were exported to the Vietnamese market (March 2015). Sunoil exports have tripled since then: from 0.7 KMT in MY 2014/15 to 2.2 KMT in MY 2016/17. Russia has already supplied 1.3 KMT of sunoil to Vietnam this marketing year against 0.8 KMT at the same time last season. In view of growing demand from Vietnam, this volume is expected to further increase.
