Russia. Strong demand from importers continued supporting wheat export prices


Prices kept growing in Russian export market of wheat last week, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The prices for milling wheat with 12.5% protein closed the week up another USD 1/MT in Novorossiysk port – at USD 208-210/MT FOB, March-April delivery. The 11.5% protein wheat prices and those for feed wheat gained on average USD 2-4/MT in Novorossiysk port reaching USD 202-205/MT FOB and USD 195-197/MT FOB respectively, with delivery in March-April.

The export prices for Russian feed wheat reached their high since April 2015.

Russian export market was supported by strong demand from importers, especially from Egypt and Turkey. Export shipments of wheat from Russia continued to set new records.
