Russia. This season’s vegoil production exceeded 3 MMT


Russian production of vegoils continues at a record pace this season despite difficulties faced by their sales in March 2017. So, this month’s vegoil output hit an all-time record 452.8 KMT against 429.3 KMT in February 2017 and 361.8 KMT in March 2016. Overall, production reached 3050.9 KMT in September-March 2016/17, or up 13.5% from the same period a year ago, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Over 93% of vegoil output is represented by sunoil. Its production increased to 379.1 KMT in March 2017 against 361.6 KMT in February 2017 and 342.4 KMT in March 2016. In total, 2016/17 sunoil production exceeded the 2015/16 level, having amounted to 2838 KMT against 2526 KMT a year earlier. It still shows record figures.
