Russia to strengthen control over alcohol products from Georgia

Control over the quality and safety of alcoholic products imported to Russia from Georgia, conducted by the Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare, reported on the website of the Ministry.
 
"Quality control and safety of alcoholic products imported to the territory of the Russian Federation, will be strengthened", — said on its website.

It is noted that in the first half of 2018 have been identified with the party of alcoholic beverages that did not comply with mandatory requirements, established technical regulations and the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of consumer protection.
 
It is reported that all batches of products not complying with the mandatory requirements, a total of more than 16 thousand liters were not admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation.

"Analysis of the quality and safety of products supplied evidence on violations of production technology and inadequate control over production both from the producers and authorized Georgian state bodies", — added in Department.
