Russia. Upcoming change of leaders in the sunoil market


Solnechnye Producty Holding may gain control over Sergey Kislov’s Yug Rusi Group, Russia’s largest producer of bottled sunoil.

Solnechnye Produkty’s intent to gain control over the largest bottled sunoil producer Yug Rusi became known due to a report of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) published on July 14. The Service permitted the Cyprian companies SolPro Investments Ltd and Indicativo Capital Ltd to acquire 62% and 38% stakes in YR Investments Group, respectively. Since 2017 June, YR Investments has been owning 100% of the group’s head company LLC Yug Rusi.

Yug Rusi, according own information, comprises ten oil mills in Russia and Kazakhstan. Also, the company runs a few silos, port terminals, baking production facilities and a cannery. The group’s land bank amounts to 200 Th ha.

Solnechnye Producty belongs to Vladislav’s Burov’s Buket Group. The holding is one of Russia’s top producers of sunoil, fats, margarines and mayonnaise. In addition, the holding runs 157 Th ha of land.
