Russia. Yug Sibiri Group aimed at active cooperation with China

In late August, looking for a Russian partner to organize rape oil deliveries to China, representatives of a number of Chinese companies audited production sites of the Barnaul oil extraction plant (a subsidiary of Yug Sibiri Group), reports UkrAgroConsult.

“Partnership with the Chinese party is a prioritized and strategic field in the development of the company’s exports. Yug Sibiri Group has already established partnership links with China’s Beijing Huaxing Baikal Group Co., Ltd. A representative foreign delegation including Luhua Group Co., Ltd, Beijing Huaxing Baikal Group Co., Ltd and Baoshang Bank Limited has visited us now. The engagement of Luhua Group Co., Ltd guarantees an increase in our high-quality oil shipments and an expansion of export destinations within China. In the future, sunflower and soybean oils may also be added to the range of finished products shipped to China,” LLC Yug Sibiri’s chief sales officer Vitaliy Fefelov commented on the meeting results.

In the course of the talks the parties pointed out that stepping up rape oil deliveries to the Chinese market is a promising field of cooperation. As a reminder, Russian rapeseed oil exports to China dropped to 9.4 KMT in the 2016/17 season against 22.8 KMT a year earlier.
