Russian manufacturers are able to significantly increase the supply of specialized equipment to Iran

Deputy Director of the Association "Rosspetsmash" Denis Maksimkin part of the Russian delegation headed by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has visited the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is the first official visit of the Duma speaker to Iran.

 The delegation included deputies of the state Duma of Russia, the leadership of the chamber of Commerce and industry of Russia, representatives of the regions and the leading Russian companies.

During the visit, in particular, held a meeting with Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani and head of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani. The parties have participated in the work of the Russian-Iranian business forum.

In his speech at the forum Vyacheslav Volodin noted that relations between the two countries are developing dynamically. Listing promising areas of cooperation, he said that it is necessary to intensify cooperation in agricultural engineering.

Denis Maksimkin believes that the domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the near future can supply to Iran up to 50 combine harvesters a year, which is about 50% of annual domestic market of the country.

"In July 2017 in Iran tested combine harvester NOVA production the Rostselmash. They held the employees of the Ministry of agricultural Jihad the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to which the technique is proved perfectly," - said the Deputy Director of the Association "Rosspetsmash".

According to him, domestic companies willing to export to Iran and other specialized machines. For example, St. Petersburg tractor plant is interested in supplying to the Republic of more than 100 units of machinery, including agricultural tractors, wheel loaders and wheeled dozers.

The Association "Rosspetsmash" I believe that all projects to promote Russian specialized engineering in Iran must be implemented using measures of support of export of high technology products, provided by the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia and JSC "Russian export center."

The increase in exports to Iran of specialized equipment will contribute to new public program. The Ministry of industry and trade has already prepared projects of decrees of the RF Government to support after-sales service and guarantee to repurchase the equipment. In addition, the Ministry is developing a program that will include providing extended warranties on equipment.
