Russian wheat prices grew last week pushed by world market and strong demand from importers

Russian wheat continued to rise in price last week. Remarkably, its growth was observed not only in the export market, but also, at last, in the domestic one. Export prices for Russian milling wheat with 12.5% and 11.5% protein closed the week on average up another $2-3/MT at $190-193/MT and $180-183/MT, respectively (FOB Novorossiysk port, October-November delivery), reports UkrAgroConsult.

As before, its prices are pushed up by growth in the world wheat market along with steady strong demand for Russian wheat from importers. This is proven by a GASC tender held this past week.
