Russian wheat proved to be non-competitive in a GASC tender

On June 22, Egypt purchased 175 KMT of milling wheat from Romania and Ukraine with shipment during July 25 – August 5, 2017 at an average price of USD 208.11/MT C&F. The price in the previous tender equaled USD 206.28/MT C&F, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Russian wheat proved to be non-competitive. In the tender it was offered for at least $195.95/т FOB that was $3.03/MT above the cheapest offer of Russian wheat in the previous tender of June 13.

In the previous tender, on June 13, 2017 Egypt bought 300 KMT of milling wheat from Russia, Romania and Ukraine with shipment during July 15–25, 2017.
