South Korea's NOFI tenders for corn, feed wheat, barley


South Korea's largest feedmaker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) has issued an international tender to purchase up to 138,000 tonnes of corn, up to 65,000 tonnes of feed wheat and 12,000 tonnes of barley, European traders said on Tuesday.

The tender deadline is also Tuesday, Oct. 17, they said.

The grains can all be sourced from optional origins.

The yellow corn is sought in two consignments of 52,000 tonnes to 69,000 tonnes for arrival in South Korea around Feb. 15 and Feb. 25, 2018, traders said.

The wheat is sought in one consignment of 45,000 tonnes to 65,000 tonnes for arrival around Feb. 5, 2018, with Argentina excluded as an origin.

The barley is sought in one 5,000 to 12,000 tonne consignment for arrival around Jan. 5, 2018.
