Soybean planting is the fastest in history in Mato Grosso, Brazil


The planting of soybean has reached 31.4 percent of the total surface in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso and jumped 14.9 percentage points in comparison to the previous week, according to data released by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics today.

The Institute says that this is the fastest planting pace registered in the state in history. High volume of rains have allowed the advance of planting. The record of planting in Mato Grosso is made since 2009.
