Soybean planting reaches 83% of surface in Brazil


The soybean planting in Brazil has reached 83 percent of the projected surface this week, according to data of the Curitiba consultancy AgRural. There was a progress of 10 percentage points in one week and the advance is slightly ahead comparing to last year.

At this time, there is important lack of rain in Mato Grosso do Sul, some lack of rain in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná, while there is strong optimism about the weather in Mato Grosso.
