Sunoil production in Ukraine falling for a second month in a row

Sunseed crushing volumes have been shrinking for a second month in a row in the current 2016/17 season, reports UkrAgroConsult.

So, Ukraine’s large and medium-sized crushers produced 439.2 KMT of sunoil in February, or 7.7% less than in January (475.7 KMT). However, 2016/17 production continues to be all-time high in terms of both February’s and seasonal outputs. Sunoil production by Ukrainian large and medium-sized crushers amounted to 2916.4 KMT in September-February 2016/17 that is up almost 874 KMT (43%) year-on-year.

Further prospects of the Black Sea oilseeds/vegoils market in the 2017/18 season will be discussed at the V International Conference “Black Sea Oil Trade”, which will take place on September 19, 2017 in Hilton hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
