The EU has banned the import of poultry from Ukraine due to the bird flu

In early December of 2016 the European Union has banned the import of Ukrainian poultry meat in connection with the registration of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5) in the Kherson region

The European Union and some Asian countries have restricted the import of poultry from Ukraine due to highly pathogenic influenza. About it reported in Public service of Ukraine concerning food safety and consumer protection.

"Information concerned with restrictions on the import of poultry and poultry products from Ukraine to Hong Kong, Yemen, European Union, Iraq, Jordan, China, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates", – stated in the message Department.
