The Rosselkhoznadzor lifted the ban on the import of pork products from Hungary


The ban was in force from the beginning of may due to the deterioration of the situation of swine fever in Hungary.

 The Federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) lifted the restrictions previously imposed on imports of pork products from Hungary, announced on July 27, the press service of the Ministry.

As specified, the import into Russia of live pigs, slaughter products of pigs, pork and products containing it re-enabled on 24 July 2018.

Recall, the ban on the import of specified products from the entire territory of Hungary was introduced in early may in connection with the deterioration in the country, the epizootic situation of African swine fever in the country.
