The Rosselkhoznadzor requested Belarus to work together to control the quality of products at the border

Previously, the Agency announced its intention to introduce from 6 June temporary restrictions on supplies to Russia of milk and some other dairy products from Belarus.

 The Rosselkhoznadzor considers it necessary presence of Russian specialists at the external border of Belarus to check coming into the country products. About it journalists were reported by the official representative of the Rosselkhoznadzor.

"We offer our Belarusian colleagues to put our experts on the external borders, to help if they can't distinguish the genuine from the fake certificates. But yet they do not go for it, so the problem remains," he said.

On the eve of the Rosselkhoznadzor announced the intention to introduce from 6 June temporary restrictions on supplies to Russia of milk and some other dairy products from Belarus, as received for processing (raw materials), and consumer containers larger than 2.5 l. the Ban will affect milk and cream pasteurized, sterilized and ultrapasteurization bulk; dry milk and cream, concentrated, canned and condensed; serum lactic liquid, concentrated, dry; concentrate whey and milk protein.

Speaking on the response of the Belarusian side on the ban, the official representative of the Rosselkhoznadzor said that it "goes all the time" and "very diverse." At the same time in Belarus assured that their milk will not suffer as expanding in new markets, he added. The official also noted the need to address Russia's domestic problems with the production of raw milk. "We need to restore the population of productive animals and, of course, to really ensure its food independence," he said.
 
Commenting on the possibility of creating a single dairy trader with Belarus, which was mentioned in the spring of 2018, he noted that while this question remains at the level of ideas.
