The trade turnover hardly exceeded $10 billion

The trade turnover between Russia and Japan in the first nine months of this year fell by almost 40% and hardly exceeded $10 billion, stated Deputy Minister of economic development Stanislav Voskresensky on Friday opened a Russian-Japanese business forum in Tokyo, which takes place in the framework of the visit to Japan by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Economic relations between our countries are developing dynamically, although it is nothing to boast. Turnover for the first nine months of this year fell by almost 40%, slightly exceeded $10 billion", — he said.
