Turkey reduced import duties for barley and wheat


According to official data, Turkey reduced import duty for barley to zero until April 1, 2018.  Also, the country’s government decreased import duty for four wheat classes to 45% from 130% set last year.

Last year, Turkey raised import duties for barley and other grains at the harvest time, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Official information published on December 31 says that imports of feed, malting and other barley types shall be charged with a 35% duty from Q2 2018.
