Turkish exporters have explained the restrictions
Turkish exporters explained the decision to restrict the import from Russia of all kinds of agricultural products to the level of 20-25 percent of their total imports of the desire to protect your business
This was stated by a member of the governing Council of the Association of exporters of Istanbul, Zekeriya meta. "We have allocated quotas to countries. We want to protect ourselves, if some country we have problems that we are not left with nothing", — he said.
Zekeriya meta also stressed that the decision to restrict the import of agricultural products from Russia at the level of 20-25% is taken by the exporters Union of Istanbul, and not by the Ministry of economy.
"We decide, and the Ministry of economy accepts or does not accept it. Now the decision has been made. Tomorrow, depending on changing circumstances, it can be changed", he said.
