Ukraine. 1 MMT of grain to be handled on terminal of MV Cargo before year-end

Grain terminal of Cargill and MV Cargo, which is being built on the territory of Yuzhny seaport, can handle 1 MMT already before the end of 2018. Co-owner of MV Cargo, the general director of Terminal Group TIS, Andrey Stavnitser says that in summer they plan to put into operation the terminal and hopefully get 1 MMT by the end of the year, as that they are doing their best to launch the project this summer, reports UkrAgroConsult.

According to Stavnitser, from construction point of view, everything is proceeding well: dredging has been already completed, now filling of quay with sand is being carried out and then hydraulic engineering construction will begin. As a reminder, in February 2016, Cargill and MV Cargo agreed to implement an investment project for construction of the grain terminal in Yuzhny port with an annual capacity of 5 MMT. Grain storage capacity will reach 290 KMT.
