Ukraine. 2018 budget: state support of agrarian sector and land reform


On September 22, the presentation of budget draft for 2018 took place in Verkhovna Rada. This parliamentary procedure allows beginning work on the document in the committees. Today, the main budget indicators look as follows: revenue – UAH 877 billion, expenses – UAH 848 billion. Over the next three years, the Government plans to increase GDP by 11% and reduce the inflation to 5%. The US dollar exchange rate for 2018 is estimated at UAH 29.3.

As regards the state support of the agroindustrial complex, there are some differences in figures of the document. It is assumed that the Agriculture Ministry will obtain UAH 11.7 billion (in 2016 – UAH 9.4 billion). Item-by-item distribution of these funds differs from the last year’s one significantly.
