Ukraine. 2018 grain crop exceeded 70.1 MMT


According to the Ag Ministry of Ukraine, the total crop of grains in 2018 approximated 70.1 MMT against 62 MMT last year.

Farmers harvested 35.5 MMT of corn, 24.5 MMT of wheat, 7.3 MMT of barley, 0.41 MMT of rye, and 0.13 MMT of buckwheat.

The Ag Ministry forecasts 2018/19 grain exports at 47.2 MMT against 39.9 MMT in MY 2017/18, reports UkrAgroConsult.
