Ukraine. Allseeds Black Sea Company launched logistics project for oilseeds meals handling

In February 2017, Allseeds begins implementing a logistics project for handling oilseed meals on its production site in the port of Yuzhny, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The project will be carried out in three stages, each consisting of tying up a 25 KMT floor warehouse to the enterprise’s operating infrastructure and railways. So, their total storage capacity is to make up 75 KMT.

This technical and organizational solution will allow the company to diversify deliveries of own-produced meal and its partners’ meal to marine terminals of the Yuzhny port and other operators. As a result, the cost of these operations will fall considerably.

This will also enable Allseeds Group to save a lot on handling own meal and make this operation commercially competitive for partners willing to export their commodities via the company’s infrastructure.

“Thus, we expect to achieve an annual meal handling volume of roughly 1 MMT and revenues of $10 Ml on the basis of the constructed infrastructure after the logistics project implementation,” noted Allseeds Group’s board chairman Vyacheslav Petryshche.
