Ukraine and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum on investment cooperation in the agricultural sector


The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum on investment cooperation in agriculture. The document envisages stepping up cooperation between the nations in the agricultural sector and attracting investments into Ukraine’s agriculture, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Total exports from Ukraine to Saudi Arabia feature the largest share of agricultural products: they account for some 80% of Ukrainian supplies to this country. So, reportedly, Ukraine exported USD 309.8 Ml worth of agricultural commodities to Saudi Arabia in the first nine months of the current year. They included mostly grains (USD 254 Ml), vegoils (USD 25.2 Ml), meat and by-products (USD 11 Ml), poultry eggs (USD 1.6 Ml).
