Ukraine. Barley harvested from 12% of area

Ukrainian farmers harvested early cereals and pulses from 437 Th ha (5% of the plan) by July 4 against 576 Th ha by July 4, 2016. They got 1372 KMT with an average yield of 3.14 MT/ha against 2040 KMT with an average yield of 3.54 MT/ha by July 4, 2016, reports UkrAgroConsult.

This includes 315 KMT of wheat harvested from 104 Th ha (2% out of the planned 6263 Th ha) against 99 Th ha last year. The yield averaged 3.02 MT/ha against 3.74 MT/ha in 2016. Barley was harvested from 290 Th ha (12% out of the planned 2438 Th ha) against 457 Th ha on the same date last year. Its crop amounted to 957 KMT with an average yield of 3.30 MT/ha (1609 KMT with a 3.52 MT/ha yield in 2016).
