Ukraine became one of the top five agricultural product suppliers to the European Union


According to the European Commission, revenues from Ukrainian agricultural and food exports to the European Union gained 27% (EUR 1.2 Bl) in 2017, totaling EUR 5.52 Bl., reports UkrAgroConsult.

Ukraine became one of the top five exporters to EU countries last year. It trails only Brazil (EUR 11.8 Bl), the USA (EUR 11 Bl) and Argentina (EUR 5.7 Bl). The fifth biggest supplier is China: its revenues from agricultural exports to the EU totaled EUR 5.4 Bl.

At the same time, agricultural and food imports from the EU to Ukraine increased 16% (+EUR 250 Ml) by value to EUR 1.8 Bl last year.
