Ukraine. Corn gathered from 82% of intended area

As of November 21, corn was harvested from 3712 Th ha (3367 Th ha in 2016) that is 82% of its planned area of 4509 Th ha. Its crop amounted to 19.55 MMT (21.03 MMT) with an average yield of 5.27 MT/ha (6.25 MT/ha), reports UkrAgroConsult.

As of November 21, buckwheat was harvested from 180 Th ha (99% of the plan) with a crop of 198 KMT and an average yield of 1.10 MT/ha. Simultaneously, growers harvested millet from 55 Th ha (98%) with a 83 KMT crop and a 1.50 MT/ha average yield. In 2016, 191 KMT was harvested from 104 Th ha with a yield of 1.83 MT/ha.

In total, cereals and pulses were harvested from 13.76 Ml ha with a crop of 57.81 MMT and an average yield of 4.20 MT/ha (60.15 MMT and 4.49 MT/ha, respectively, in 2016).
