Ukraine. Corn harvest is 67% complete

As of November 06, corn was harvested from 3038 Th ha (2928 Th ha in 2016) that is 67% of its planned area of 4509 Th ha. Its crop amounted to 15060 KMT (17608 KMT) with an average yield of 4.96 MT/ha (6.01 MT/ha, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The harvest of buckwheat and millet is entering its final phase. As of November 06, buckwheat was harvested from 176 Th ha (97% of the plan) with a crop of 192 KMT and an average yield of 1.09 MT/ha. It was harvested from 148 Th ha at the same time last year, with a crop of 189 KMT and a yield of 1.27 MT/ha. Simultaneously, growers harvested millet from 55 Th ha (98%) with a 81 KMT crop and a 1.46 MT/ha average yield. In 2016, 187 KMT was harvested from 103 Th ha with a yield of 1.82 MT/ha.

In total, cereals and pulses were harvested from 13.08 Ml ha with a crop of 53.22 MMT and an average yield of 4.07 MT/ha (56.65 MMT and 4.38 MT/ha, respectively, in 2016).
