Ukraine. Corn stocks still up 34% year-on-year

According to the State Statistics Committee, Ukraine’s stocks of grains and pulses as of February 1, 2019 were 10% higher than a year earlier.

Due to a record crop of corn, its stocks as of the reporting date were up 34% year-on-year despite a rapid pace of corn exports, reports UkrAgroConsult.

At the same time, this season’s record exports of rye reduced its stocks by 57.3% compared with February 1, 2018.
