Ukraine. Domestic wheat prices continued to grow last week supported by strong demand


No significant changes were seen in Ukrainian milling wheat market last week, despite the recent reduction in the world market, reports UkrAgroConsult.

In the domestic market, milling wheat prices continued to grow supported by strong demand from both traders and processors. By the end of the week, demand prices for Ukrainian milling wheat had gained around UAH 50/MT at inland silos and UAH 100/MT in ports.

Since the beginning of the 2017/18 season, domestic milling wheat prices have increased nearly UAH 550-650/MT.

Prices for feed wheat remained supported both in the domestic and export markets. Export prices for Ukrainian feed wheat closed the week up another USD 1/MT FOB, October-November delivery owing to strong demand from importers. In the domestic market, demand prices gained around UAH 50/MT.
