Ukraine. Dredging in water area of Cargill terminal finished


On December 28, China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC) completed dredging within the project "Reconstruction of water approaches, shunting zones and operational water area at berths, taking into account the perspective cargo turnover of the seaport "Yuzhny", the implementation of which will ensure functioning of the grain terminal which belongs to a global commodity trader Cargill and the company MV Cargo, reports UkrAgroConsult.

According to the documents, the project was planned to be finished on March 31. CHEC completed the work three months earlier. On July 20, the first bucket was lifted, on December 28 – the last one. In total, nearly 4.4 million cubic meters of soil. Capital construction is complete, now machinery and metal structures are being installed.

As a reminder, MV Cargo is building a grain terminal for Cargill at "Yuzhny" port with an annual capacity of 5 MMT. Grain storage capacity will reach 290 KMT.
