Ukraine exported 4.9 MMT of sunoil this season


Sunoil exports revived again in June of the current 2016/17 season. They reached 482 KMT that is up almost 2% from May and a record volume for June. Consequently, exports for the ten months of this marketing year hit a new high. So, 4918 KMT of sunoil was shipped abroad in September-June 2016/17 against 3867 KMT at the same time last season, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Ukrainian sunoil is exported to 118 countries. Apart from traditional export destinations, the current season features a rise in supplies to African and American continents. However, the list of importers is still topped by India (34% of total exports), European countries (28%), China (10%), Iran (6%) and Egypt (4%). Remarkably, India, Iran and Egypt considerably stepped up purchases of the Ukrainian product.
