Ukraine exporting over 35% of goods to EU
Export of Ukrainian goods and services to the European Union countries amounted to 35.7% for the first 9 months of 2016.
Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska said this in a commentary to Hromadske.
"We see a trend that the EU actually remains to be our main trading partner, and our exports to the European Union grow. The goods constitute the bulk of exports (more than 85%), while the services amount to only 15%. The growth of exports to the EU testifies to the fact that the FTA agreement is effective," she said.
Mykolska added that the export of value-added products started to increase gradually.
As a reminder, the EU-Ukraine Free Trade Area Agreement came into effect on January 1, 2016.
