Ukraine. Flour exports are 17% higher


2016/17 MY started with the tendency observed last season, namely growth of Ukrainian flour exports at the background of domestic production squeeze, UkrAgroConsult informs. 

Over two months of 2016/17 (July-August) Ukraine increased flour exports by 17% compared to the same period last season (59.6 KMT against 51 KMT).

China remained key importer in the reporting period and main supply markets remained the same as well, though slight increase is seen from the side of UAE, Lebanon, and Georgia.

According to UkrAgroConsult`s estimates, this season Ukraine will export more flour than in 2015/16 MY.
