Ukraine. Flour production in Ukraine down 5.6% this year


Flour production in Ukraine continued shrinking in September 2016, reports UkrAgroConsult. It decreased 5.6% in the first nine months of 2016: about 1.392 MMT of flour was produced from January through September against 1.475 MMT at the same time last year.

Simultaneously, according to UkrAgroConsult data, production of bread and other baked goods has similarly fallen by 5.6% in 2016, down to 844.8 KMT, and pasta production dropped by 5.3% to 60.4 KMT.
