There is some recovery of trading activity in the new-crop market, but deals are few. The highest demand is seen for the new-crop barley, due to the expected reduction of its acreage and production in the country. Producers do not hurry to conclude forward contracts for barley, because of concerns about the necessary volumes availability and expectations of higher prices.
