Ukraine harvested 21.7 MMT of corn


As of October 29, the harvest of late grains in Ukraine is 89% complete. That of buckwheat and millet is almost finished: these crops have been harvested from 98% and 93% of their projected areas, respectively.

The corn harvest has slowed down. So, it was 68% complete by the reporting date – this is 16.3% more than as of October 30, 2017. However, its progress was 21% ahead of last year a week ago.

The planting of winter grains was 96% complete by the reporting date. This is up almost 2% on the year.
