Ukraine harvested 37.7 MMT of grain

As of August, 15 early grains and pulses were harvested from 9590 Th ha (99% of the intended area) compared with 10105 Th ha by August 14, 2015. Farmers obtained 37.756 MMT with average yields at 3.94 MT/ha (by the same date in 2015 – 36.501 MMT with average productivity at 3.61 MT/ha).

Wheat was harvested from 6160 Th ha – 99% of the plan (6782 Th ha in 2015), 26.369 MMT obtained with average yield at 4.28 MT/ha (3.94 MT/ha last year).

Barley was harvested from 2865 Th ha (99.6%) compared with 2796 Th ha in 2015. Barley production reached 9768 KMT with average yields at 3.41 MT/ha (8498 KMT with 3.04 MT/ha in 2015).

763 KMT of peas were harvested from 236 Th ha (99.8% of the intended area) with average yield at 3.23 MT/ha. By August 14, 2015 nearly 392 KMT of peas had been gathered from 169 Th ha with average yields 2.33 MT/ha.

By the reporting date 138 Th ha of rye had been threshed (97% of the plan) and 373 KMT obtained with average yield 2.69 MT/ha (2.53 MT/ha in 2015).

Oats had been threshed from 188 Th ha (90%), 481 KMT harvested with average yield – 2.56 MT/ha (2.37 MT/ha in 2015).
