Ukraine harvested 47% of early grains and pulses

By July, 18 early grains and pulses had been harvested from 4515 Th ha (47% of the intended area) compared with 4220 Th ha by July 18, 2015. Farmers obtained 16113 KMT with average yields at 3.57 MT/ha (by the same date in 2015 - 13535 KMT with average productivity at 3.21 MT/ha).

Wheat was harvested from 2582 Th ha (42%) against 2553 Th ha in 2015, 9871 KMT obtained with average yield - 3.82 MT/ha (3.44 MT/ha last year).

Barley was harvested at 1748 Th ha (61%) compared with 1525 Th ha in 2015. Barley production had reached 5670 KMT by July 18, 2016 with average yields at 3.24 MT/ha (1712 KMT with 2.91 MT/ha in 2015).

548 KMT of peas were harvested from 176 Th ha (74% of the intended area) with average yield – 3.12 MT/ha. By July 18, 2015 nearly 285 KMT of peas had been gathered from 134 Th ha with average yields 2.12 MT/ha.
