In 2018 new grain terminals should begin operating in three Ukrainian ports - "Yuzhny", Berdyansk and Nikolayev. "Specifically, this year we expect the launch of three projects. This is the project of MV Cargo in Yuzhny port, the grain terminal project in Berdyansk port and the terminal of Evrovneshtorg company in Nikolayev port”, - said the head of State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority" Raivis Veckagans.

Total throughput of these three terminals is 9.5 MMT. MV Cargo’s complex will be able to handle up to 5 MMT per year, the terminal in Berdyansk – 0.5 MMT, Evrovneshtorg – 4 MMT. Moreover, the grain terminal in Mariupol port should start operating in 2019 on the basis of SE Mariupol Commercial Sea Port. The construction of this terminal began in summer of 2017. Earlier, an approximate date of launching the first stage of terminal was the end of 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.
