Ukraine increased grain exports by 10%


Ukraine exported 38.65 MMT of grains in 2016/17 by May 12, or 10% more than shipped abroad at the same time a year ago (35.12 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

This volume included 16.15 MMT of wheat (+9% year-on-year), 17.16 MMT of corn (+8%) and 5.14 MMT of barley (+21%). 

In the same period, exporters also shipped abroad 306.1 KMT of flour, including 304.8 KMT of wheat flour and 1.2 KMT of flour from other cereals.
