Ukraine. Infrastructure Minister announced a cut in port dues

The Infrastructure Ministry is completing arrangements with the Ukrainian Sea Port Authority to gradually cut port dues. The Minister expects the final decision to be made by April, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The reduction is expected to be performed in two waves: 30% in 2017 and then another 30% in 2018. The Minister believes the decision on the reduction mechanism will be made as soon as by April.

Omelyan also announced an intention to extend to the Ukrainian Sea Port Authority a pilot project under which bidders would submit just a minimum package of documents, whereas the full package would be presented by the winner upon the bidding completion.
