Ukraine. Japanese shipping company NYK eyeing the port of Chornomorsk


Representatives of Japan’s shipping company NYK Line (RoRo Division) visited the port of Chornomorsk and familiarized themselves with operational possibilities of the ferry terminal. It is highly probable that the company will start working in the port as soon as this year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The port management received an official delegation including the representatives of NYK Line (RoRo Division) and its Ukrainian agent MICS LTD. The Japanese guests familiarized themselves with the port’s infrastructure and found it satisfactory.

Reportedly, the meeting may effectively result in the first own vessel call of NYK Line (RoRo Division) at the port of Chornomorsk as soon as Q1 2017.

NYK Line is the largest shipping company in Japan. It belongs to Mitsubishi Group. RoRo Division is the world’s largest oceanic RoRo-operator.
