Ukraine. Kernel’s land bank will enlarge by 230 Th ha

Kernel Agri Holding is finalizing talks on the acquisition of two farming companies with land banks of 40 Th ha and 190 Th ha, Interfax Ukraine news agency reported.

“We are close to completing two transactions we’ll announce shortly. We are speaking of two deals: one of them for 190 Th ha and the other for 40 Th ha with infrastructure and a few silos,” specified Kernel board chairman Andriy Verevsky. According to him, these companies’ land bank is located close to that of Kernel, therefore the agri holding will increase its assets in the presence regions once the deals are completed.

It is not yet known exactly what companies are meant here. Analysts believe the matter most likely concerns the land parcels of Agro Invest Ukraine and Ukrainian Agrarian Investments.
