According to the presentation of Ukrzaliznytsia, the first stage will be implemented on February 01, 2019 - by 16.6%, then on May 01, August 01 and November 01, 2019 the cost will be raised by 2.5%, reports UkrAgroConsult.

No reduction for port charges in 2019

Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure will continue to work on reduction of port charges, but there is no opportunity to achieve this in 2019. Earlier acting chairman of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, Raivis Wieckagans, said that a new calculating method of port charges would be approved in the first half of 2018.

In September 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decree that provided for reduction of port charges by 20% and the decrease in share of net profit deduction of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” to the state budget from 75% to 50%. These changes were implemented since January 01, 2018.
