Ukraine. Main company of the Sintal Agriculture holding started bankruptcy

Sintal Agriculture Holding, which has one of Ukraine’s largest land banks, may leave the market. It became known yesterday that the Economic Court of Kharkiv region opened bankruptcy proceedings against the company’s key entity. A main reason for such a fast decline of the business that had been considered promising, was unfavorable weather in the holding’s key operational regions over the recent few years. Experts believe that similar reasons may force a series of other big agricultural companies to leave the market, too.
